  • Document provider–patient interactions in real time, accurately capturing clinical histories, exam findings, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Format notes using standard medical structures (SOAP, HPI, ROS, A&P), applying correct terminology, abbreviations, and structure for provider review.
EHR and Chart Management
  • Enter and update clinical information such as medications, allergies, past medical history, and provider assessments into the EHR.
  • Preload charts by reviewing prior documentation, summarizing relevant history, and attaching external records or referrals.
Provider-Directed Order Entry and Transcription
  • Transcribe verbal instructions and dictation from the provider, converting them into structured notes and action items within the EHR.
  • Enter provider-directed orders—such as labs, imaging, referrals, and prescriptions—for final sign-off and submission by the clinician.
Workflow and Inbox Support
  • Assist in updating visit notes, resolving documentation-related inbox tasks, and flagging pending items for review to support faster chart closure and reduced administrative burden on providers.

  • Medical Terminology Proficiency: Accurately uses clinical terms, abbreviations, and symptom language in context to represent patient encounters.
  • Real-Time Documentation: Types quickly and accurately to document live or recorded visits while maintaining structured clinical clarity.
  • SOAP Note Formatting: Structures notes based on standard U.S. clinical documentation formats (HPI, ROS, Exam, A&P).
  • EHR Navigation and Data Entry: Navigates EHR systems fluidly to input notes, preload charts, and document clinical details across different encounter types.
  • Order Entry Awareness: Familiarity with how to input orders (e.g., labs, imaging, referrals) for provider sign-off, understanding common CPT/ICD references.
  • HIPAA and Privacy Compliance: Maintains strict confidentiality of all Protected Health Information and documentation processes.

  • Listening Accuracy: Demonstrates excellent auditory comprehension when capturing fast-paced, clinical dialogue with precision.
  • Fast, Error-Free Typing: Maintains a high typing speed with minimal transcription errors.

Client Work Requirements

Upon placement with a client, applicants will be required to remain available on video (webcam on) during working hours via designated communication platforms, as part of standard remote work protocols and client expectations.

Compensation Structure

Compensation for selected candidates typically ranges between USD $500 – $1,000 per month, depending on:

  • Total years of relevant experience
  • Role-specific competencies
  • Industry alignment

All compensation decisions are made at the discretion of the Talent Acquisition team, based on structured evaluation criteria and professional judgment. We are committed to maintaining a fair and non-discriminatory selection process.

Final compensation and placement decisions are determined at the time of client assignment and are considered final and non-contestable.
